Song of the day: Frank Zappa’s “What’s New In Baltimore?”
A personal favorite Zappa song, this version was on the album “Does Humor Belong in Music?” One reason I like it so much may be that while performing this song, there was once a tip that an audience member had a gun and planned to assault Zappa. Zappa stood on stage scowling until the man was removed and continued to play the song as if nothing had happened.
What did mankind learn that day? Do not fuck with Frank Zappa in the middle of a guitar solo.
